North Oaks believes that we need to bring up our children in the “training and instruction of the Lord” (Eph. 6:4). To work with parents towards this goal we offer a Children's Bible Hour during our morning worship period. Children, ages three and up, are excused just after communion and right before the sermon. Your children will have fun participating in our children's worship which includes spirit filled songs, prayers and age-appropriate Bible lessons using video, puppets, and other medium to hold their attention. Come and be a part of this exciting program.
Children’s Bible Hour
North Oaks Church of Christ offers a Children's Bible Hour during the regular worship period. Children, ages three and up, are excused during Coins for Christ which occurs just after communion and right before the lesson. Your children will have fun participating in our children's worship which includes spirit filled songs, prayers, and Bible lessons taught using video, film strips, puppets, skits and other medium to hold young children's attention while teaching Bible truths. Come and be a part of this exciting program.

Children’s Bible Classes
There are classes for all ages from infants through high school. Below is a class schedule to help you find the right class for your children:

Cradle Roll
Cradle Roll is our Bible class for babies (birth through 2 years). The lesson is presented using song. Why have Bible class for babies? At North Oaks Church of Christ we love our babies, and believe that God has placed in them the instinct to reach out to their Creator through learning. It is a privilege and awesome responsibility to share God with babies whose attitudes and habits are just beginning to form. In a loving and secure environment we strive to teach our babies about God through His word, the Bible; acknowledge His creation and learn about Jesus and His love for us.
That they may see and know and consider and understand together, that the hand of the Lord has done this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it. Isaiah 41:20
Coins for Christ
Our children collect coins for various missions throughout the year. The collection is taken as they are dismissed to Children’s Bible Hour. Children drop their coins that they’ve saved throughout the week in jars at the front of the auditorium. This act helps teach our children important lessons about saving and giving as Christ commanded us to do. With this money the children have been able to provide for families in the local community and abroad.
Nursery
An attended nursery is available during service. It is located in the first classroom just out the double doors to the left of the auditorium.
